whom it may be disclosed. In compliance with the GLBA, we are providing you with this document, which notifies you of the privacy policies and practices of The Buren Insurance Group, Inc.
OUR PRIVACY POLICIES AND PRACTICES
1. Information we collect:
We collect nonpublic personal information about you from the following sources:
- Information we receive from you on applications or other forms.
- Information about your transactions with us, our affiliates or others.
- Information we receive from a consumer reporting agency.
- Information we receive from a medical information bureau.

Unless you expressly direct us to do so, we will not disclose personal information about you to third parties for their own marketing purposes. We share personal information about you with third parties
(that is people and companies that are not affiliated with us) only as necessary to provide you with our products and services and as otherwise permitted by law. For example, we may disclose your personal information as
necessary to service your policy, to investigate and pay claims, to comply with state and federal regulatory requests or demands, and to process other transactions that you request.
Persons to whom we may make such disclosures include your insurance regulators, insurance companies, the Medical Information Bureau, your mortgage or premium finance company, insurance adjusters and
insurance premium auditors. We also may disclose personal information about you to companies that perform marketing services on our behalf or to other financial service providers with which we have joint marketing agreements.
3. Our practices regarding information confidentiality and security:
We restrict access to nonpublic personal information about you to those employees who need to know that information in order to provide products or services to you. We maintain physical, electronic and organizational safeguards to protect information about you.
